In the 1980s, local artisans revived the traditional techniques, bringing Bayi Ceramics back to life. Bayi Ceramics embodies the folk memories of southeastern Shanxi, and its red-and-green decorative style influenced later northern porcelain, serving as vital material evidence for studying the history of northern folk kilns.
