He set up a stall near the City God Temple, gaining popularity for quality and affordability. During the War of Resistance, the shop moved frequently but never ceased production. After 1949, Daguanlou merged into a local food factory, preserving traditional recipes and techniques. Daguanlou pastries blend northern and southern flavors, especially renowned for Dengxin Gao (lamp wick cake) and Guihua Su Tang (osmanthus crisp candy), showcasing the finesse and inclusiveness of Ganpo cuisine.
