In the 1950s, to preserve these traditional flavors, the government organized vendors into cooperatives and established a snack shop near the temple, later named 'Longfusi Snack Shop.' The shop inherited the craftsmanship of temple fair snacks and became a representative of Beijing's culinary heritage. Culturally, it is not just a place to eat but a microcosm of old Beijing's folk customs, witnessing the city's transformation and the continuity of its food culture.
