Brand Story
The predecessor of Xintiandi Qiulin can be traced back to 1900 (the 26th year of the Guangxu reign), when Russian merchant Ivan Yakovlevich Qiulin founded Qiulin Company in Harbin, capitalizing on the business opportunities brought by the construction of the Chinese Eastern Railway. In 1909 (the first year of the Xuantong reign), Qiulin established a food factory, producing Russian-style bread and red sausage, gradually developing a unique craft. In 1953, after the founding of the People's Republic of China, Qiulin was nationalized and renamed State-owned Qiulin Company. In 1997, during the reform and opening-up era, the enterprise was restructured into Qiulin Group. In the 2010s, Qiulin's food business was integrated to form the Xintiandi Qiulin brand. Qiulin food blends Russian and local Harbin flavors, becoming a cultural symbol of the city, with its red sausage-making technique listed as a provincial intangible cultural heritage.
