The brand name 'Yili' is derived from the Yili River, symbolizing 'the power of the Yili River.' Over the years, the distillery has upheld the spirit of 'hard work and pioneering,' refining their techniques using Tianshan snowmelt water and high-quality sorghum and wheat from the valley. Fermented in aged mud pits and aged for extended periods, their baijiu boasts a rich cellar aroma, a mellow and clean taste, and a lingering finish. Yilite has become a beloved drink across Xinjiang and a symbol of the region's military reclamation heritage.
