In 1950, the state-owned Duyun Distillery was established by consolidating several workshops, officially adopting the brand name 'Yunjiu'. Its brewing technique has been inscribed on the Guizhou Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage list, making it a vital component of the province's baijiu heritage.
