During the Wei, Jin, and Southern and Northern Dynasties, scholars and literati gathered in the Kuaiji Mountains, engaging in 'Qu Shui Liu Shang' (floating wine cups along a winding stream) and fostering a vibrant drinking culture. By the Tang and Song dynasties, Shaoxing wine had gained national fame and was presented as tribute to the imperial court. Kuaijishan inherits ancient methods while integrating modern techniques, becoming a representative of Shaoxing Huangjiu.
