Brand Story
The origin of Tsingtao Beer dates back to 1903 (the 29th year of Guangxu), when British and German merchants jointly established the Germania Brewery Qingdao Company in Qingdao. At that time, Qingdao was a German concession, and beer was introduced as a daily beverage for colonists. The company hired German brewers who used traditional German brewing techniques and high-quality barley and hops to produce a lager of pure flavor. In 1916 (the 5th year of the Republic), Japan acquired the company and renamed it Dai-Nippon Beer Co., Ltd. Qingdao Factory, but the brewing technology continued. After the victory of the Anti-Japanese War in 1945, the Chinese government took over the factory and renamed it Qingdao Brewery. After the founding of New China, Tsingtao Beer gradually became a benchmark in China's beer industry, with its unique brewing process and stable quality making it a choice for national diplomacy and state banquets. Tsingtao Beer is not just a beverage; it carries the historical memory of Sino-Western cultural fusion and witnesses the rise and transformation of modern Chinese industry.
