Brand Story
The history of Quanxing liquor dates back to the Qing Dynasty's Qianlong period (1736-1795), when brewing workshops in Chengdu's Shuijing Street began to take shape. By the Daoguang era (1821-1850), the 'Fushengquan' workshop integrated neighboring distilleries, forming a larger operation. Around 1900, the workshop was renamed 'Quanxingcheng', symbolizing 'comprehensive prosperity'. Its Daqu liquor, known for its rich cellar aroma and crisp, refreshing taste, became famous across western Sichuan. In the 1950s, the Quanxing Distillery was established, preserving traditional techniques and growing steadily. Quanxing Daqu won the title of National Famous Liquor at the 1963, 1984, and 1988 national liquor competitions, earning its place among the 'Six Golden Flowers' of Sichuan liquor. More than a beverage, Quanxing embodies Chengdu's local culture and centuries of brewing wisdom, with its traditional brewing techniques listed as a Sichuan Provincial Intangible Cultural Heritage.
