Brand Story
The history of Wuxing Beer dates back to 1915, when patriotic industrialist Zhang Tingge founded Shuanghesheng Brewery outside Guang'anmen in Beijing, one of China's earliest national beer enterprises. Driven by the ideal of industrial salvation, Zhang introduced German brewing equipment and techniques, hired foreign brewers, and used quality barley, hops, and Yuquan Mountain spring water to brew the first domestic beer. In 1916, the product was officially launched under the name 'Wuxing' (Five Stars), symbolizing excellence and reputation across the world. During the War of Resistance, the factory endured hardships but kept producing. After the founding of New China, it was renamed Beijing Brewery in 1959, and the Wuxing brand continued. Following reform and opening-up, Wuxing Beer won numerous awards and became a classic on Beijing's dining tables. Its brewing process blends German tradition with local innovation, resulting in a clear, bright beer with fine foam, rich malt aroma, and pure taste.
